Living and working in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw
In South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw, we have a long and successful track record of working together with local people to improve population health and wellbeing. Now, as an Integrated Care System, we are bringing all of our local health and care partners together, with citizens, to plan the next generation of health and care services for our region.
Together, we want to give everyone a great start in life. This means supporting people to stay healthy and live longer through a holistic approach to wellbeing - looking after both mental and physical health needs of every person.
We have over 48,000 members of staff who work to meet the needs of the 1.5 million people across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. Our staff provide services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we are committed to supporting our staff to do the best possible job and provide the best possible care. We believe that developing and supporting our staff is vital to achieving these exciting developments across the region.
We will have a workforce that is flexible designed to meet the needs of our patients. This means developing a workforce, often working across sites, to help provide the care needed, where needed.
To achieve these aims, we are keen to attract a talented and diverse workforce to make South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw their home.
