The Advanced Clinical Practice Conference 2019 will be held in Sheffield at the Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza Hotel on the 12th June 2019.

The day is aimed at anyone interested in advanced practice and will include a mix of clinical workshops covering both primary and secondary care with sessions including special guest speakers Mark Radford from NHS England and E4's Sex Clinic, Dr Naomi Sutton.

Topics discussed will include the assessment of acute mental health for non-mental health trained Advanced Clinical Practitioners, dermatology, neonates for non-neonatologists, resilience and self-care as well as acute gastro-intestinal bleeding.

As part of the event we would also like to invite you to submit an abstract for the conference. Those who are successful will be asked to present a poster on the day and a prize will be presented to the winner. Submissions can include a quality improvement or audit project, case reports, survey or original research. Entries should not exceed 500 words, all submissions should be sent to by 13 May 2019.

Ticket prices include tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day and a hot lunch.

The hotel is a short walk from Sheffield train station and there are discounted room rates available with the Holiday Inn and Express hotel (50 metres down the road from main hotel)
